ENLIGHTENMENT · SRI SARGURU ASHRAMAM, B. MANIHATTY

Guru Pooja & Saundarya Lahari Maha Yagam

Held on 4 May 2026 at Sri Sarguru Ashramam, B. Manihatty — a day of Guru Pooja, Gomata Pooja, and the Sri Saundarya Lahari Maha Yagam, offered for the wellbeing of the world.

The day brought together the Foundation’s committee and the wider community at Sri Sarguru Ashramam, B. Manihatty, home of Sri Guruprakash Swamigal, who holds the lineage of Sri Sarguru Nadha Mahamuni in its Nilgiri home.

Guru Pooja and Gomata Pooja were offered as part of a wider Ulaganala Maha Yagam — a Yagam for the wellbeing of the world — alongside the Sri Saundarya Lahari Maha Yagam, honouring Devi Tripura Sundari through the hundred verses of the Saundarya Lahari.

Kalasams were consecrated and garlanded through the day’s rituals, closing with rows of lit lamps arranged before the ashram’s portrait of Sri Sarguru Nadha Mahamuni.
