SPIRITUAL LIBRARY
One of the largest of the eighteen Mahapuranas, glorifying Lord Skanda and the sacred geography of Shiva worship across India. Presented here as a single bound edition — search it, jump to any chapter or page, and pick up exactly where you left off.
The Skanda Purana is traditionally divided into several Khandas (books), each centred on a sacred region or theme. Here, Books I, II, III, V, VI and VII are bound together into one continuous volume — use Chapters to jump straight to any Book or chapter, Search to find a word or phrase anywhere in the text, or type a page number directly. Book VI (Nagarakhanda) is partial: it holds chapters 104–187 only, the one printed volume available to us so far. Book IV (Kasikhanda) is not included yet — its source volumes have not been supplied — contact us if you can help us locate a reliable source. Private study copy for logged-in readers — not for distribution. The English translation is by G. V. Tagare (Motilal Banarsidass, Delhi); all rights remain with its author and publisher.
Registered members can read this book directly on the site — no download, just an on-screen reading view.
